Bribe for Aadhar Card in Sikkat Council, Bihar – Video Volunteer Reena Reports

An Aadhar card contractor's act of demanding bribes from village residents has come to light in Bihar's Sikkar village. Anil Mandal, the ward member of ward number 1, 2 and 3 of the village has been demanding bribes for providing applications for Aadhar cards. The residents report that he has been demanding anywhere between INR 50 to INR 100 for the card. The village is home to mostly people who belong to the category of the Below Poverty Line (BPL).
